This remodel is now a tasteful and modern retreat. The original design did not align with the homeowner’s refined style. The furniture layout was reconfigured to capitalize on the beautiful ocean views. Upon entering the space, the existing private elevator lobby doors were cladded with stained walnut wood to create a new entry door design. A feature wall of stone tile is flanked by stained walnut columns. Moving through the home, the hallway feels chic and modern with a high gloss wall paneling detail highlighted with 3-dimensional artwork. A crowd favorite is the kids’ den. Kid friendly furnishings in bold, blue patterns are fresh and fun. Custom floating shelves in a rift white oak have a lip detail so picture frames can sit without falling over; an interesting take on a traditional gallery wall. The master bedroom features a custom upholstered floor to ceiling headboard, drawing the eye up. Accents of brass, mixed metals, wood tones and metallic details throughout make this home feel grand and upscale.
