WE ARE BACK!!! With the website revamp going on, we took a break from the blog to focus on the rest of our site. Our site is still a work in progress, but we hope you like our new look! It reflects our style and aesthetic- clean, crisp, and inviting. Today on the blog we are talking about the color gray. We love a good gray, but this can be a tough paint color. Depending on the size of the space, amount of natural light, surrounding furnishings and about a million other things, grays do not always turn out the way we’d like them to. Sometimes gray can look taupey or have a lavender undertone. Stick with these go-to grays for your ideal paint color and we promise you can’t go wrong!
The perfect charcoal gray, we love using Iron Mountain as an accent color on interior doors, cabinetry and wall paneling. It is a bold and saturated gray that adds subtle drama to a space. Paired next to a crisp white, this duo is unstoppable!

When in doubt, Agreeable Gray it out! A warm neutral that goes with just about any other color. With a soft beige undertone, it is sophisticated, inviting and looks dreamy against white trim.

Silver Streak is a cooler gray with blue undertones. This color stands out best amongst a neutral palette and will help pull shades of blue from other aspects of the design.

A soft gray with warm undertones, we love Repose Gray because it is a flexible color. This is the truest “gray” of the bunch. In rooms with tons of natural, bright light it doesn’t look washed out. It can also hold its own in a darker, smaller room.

Gauntlet gray is a deep gray that is not too dark. It has more brown undertones than black. This is a great exterior paint color and works well for cabinetry, wainscot and trim. For a bold and dramatic look, go for a high gloss finish!

Silver Song is a soft, muted color with sage green undertones. We love this on the walls of a master bedroom because it feels calm and peaceful. The slightly green hue gives this color a farmhouse feel.
